Heartbreaking Photos of Construction Worker Seeking Justice After Suffering Blindness Due to Work Accident
A poor construction worker is currently seeking for justice after he suffered blindness due to work accident.
A Facebook user named Lea Andor has shared the photos of a poor construction worker after suffering partial blindness due to an accident at work. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
The construction worker identified as Emelito Baleña of Imus City suffered an eye injury after a nail accidentally hits his left eye while performing his job. He was rushed at the De La Salle University Medical Center.
The doctor said that they would need P10-P15,000 for the operation but the foreman opposed the surgical operation and explained that they have no enough money for the medication.
The infection spread over Emelito’s eye, which caused his partial blindness. The poor man’s kin also tried to contact the contractor identified as Enrico Lalonio and the foreman named Marlon Tinorio but they are rejecting the call.

Baleña’s wife reported the incident to the barangay hall but the contractor did not show up.
