Young Boy Unknowingly Spent Over P100k on Mobile Games Using Debit Cards of Parents
A young boy shocked his parents after spending around P100,000 on mobile games unknowingly suing his parents’ debit card.
A Facebook user named Julmar Grace Locsin has expressed her experiencer after her eight-year-old son spent P100, 000 on mobile games. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
Julmar and her husband discovered that their son Tice went on spending spree after downloading mobile games that went unnoticed. The kid used the credit card of his parents without his full knowledge.
Locsin’s husband handed his old phone to Tice but Google Play Store app was still connected to her husband’s bank account. The young kid thought that all the games he downloaded were free.
Tice got some spanking for downloading with asking permission from his parents. He cried a lot but the Julmar and her husband forgave their child and explained the consequences of his action.
“Turned out that our little Geek actually spent a total of P100k and not P40k! Request for refund was filed but not showing on our accounts yet. Parental controls have been added and a password for purchases. Is finding out that the purchase is P100k changed our feelings for our kids? NOPE. Again, we know how our kids and our parenting more than anyone else. This is a complete mistake (he thought all downloads are free),” Julmar wrote on her post.
