Blacky The Hero Dog Who Newborn Baby Life Received Help from PAWSsion
BLACKY- The dog who was hailed a hero after saving the life of a newborn baby who was abandoned in a garbage dumpsite in Cebu City.
Recently, Blacky has become an instrument to save the life of helpless newborn baby left in the garbage dumpsite in Cebu. Based on our previous article, the baby boy was found by a motorcycle rider passing by Brgy. Magcagong before noon on Thursday, Christmas Eve.
The rider Junrell Revilla said a black dog brought him there as he follows him to the garbage dumpsite. There Revilla saw the baby wrapped in a brown towel, while next to it was a black plastic bag containing his placenta.
After the incident, the PAWSsion project wanted to give some reward to the hero dog. Through its lockdown stray feeders, Gea and Kevin were able to locate the dog named Blacky.

They learned that Blacky is not a stray dog. He has an owner named Lyndon Olingay, who has four kids and three grandchildren.
Aside from that, Blacky isn’t alone, there are nine other dogs in their house. PAWSsion moved to help and laid down their plans. They give Blacky and his huge family a reward.
“We will also tap a vet who can go onsite to check the dogs, have them vaccinated and spayed and neutered. We also wish to send 2 sacks of rice, groceries, and milk for the family and dog food for the dogs,” the group wrote.
Aside from that, they aim to raise P50k for the hero dog of which P25k will be allotted in spaying, neutering, and vettings and the remaining half will be used to buy supplies for the dogs and hoomans.
Meanwhile, the netizens who admired him immediately extended their help. Within minutes of posting, cash donations through different channels started pouring in. Blacky won the hearts of netizens who can’t stop praising him.
