Here’s what Ogie Diaz said about this celebrity who now needs his help but wanted to close down ABS-CBN.
OGIE DIAZ – 50-year-old host-talent manager Ogie Diaz lambasted celebrity who will need his help but was a pro to shut down his network, ABS-CBN.
To recall, last May 5, the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) released a cease and desist order to ABS-CBN network which ultimately made them went off air. And in July 10, the network officially shut down after receiving overwhelming votes from 70 lawmakers despite the plea of many people to grant them a fresh franchise.
It created a massive job loss which broke many hearts and prompted many celebrities to transfer to other networks for practical reasons. And a deep-rooted pain remained to one of the loyal artists of ABS-CBN and that is Ogie Diaz. He’s always been vocal about defending his network but the close down affected many artists including Liza Soberano, an actress he handles.
Now, taking his job to digital platform, he revealed in a blind item that someone, a famous celebrity, who was in favor to shut down the network, asked for his help. A promo coordinator reached out to him and it’s accordingly about the promotion of this celebrity’s film which is one of the official entries of Metro Manila Film Festival 2020.
He immediately refused to guest that particular celebrity for the reason that he’s a pro to close down ABS-CBN. Also, he believes that if the movie is good, it would certainly earn good and won’t need his show’s help for promotion.
