Making threats out of serious and sensitive matters shouldn’t be used a joke or something to wish against someone. And such threat from an employee of an internet service provider allegedly against Kapamilya actress Liza Soberano is something that she didn’t neglect.
She formally filed criminal complaint versus the woman as she think that is about time to fight for what’s right. It is time to teach the people from online their lesson who are making offensive, illegal, and rude comments. This move from her should also teach other victims to speak for themselves after being violated.
In a report from PUSH, when asked about what the employee can do to make her drop the case against her and not pursue it, here’s her full answer:
“Honestly, yes. What I really want is for her to say sorry with my name because I feel like just saying sorry publicly, I don’t feel the sincerity. And I feel like she really doesn’t own up to her own mistakes if she does not mention my name in her apology because it’s so easy to deny that it was me because my name wasn’t there. But then again everything that they were talking about all pointed towards me.”
Her home network ABS-CBN and its talent arm Star Magic have expressed support for her filing a formal complaint. indicating in their official statement that “reckless and malicious use of social media should never be tolerated”.
