PDEA Arrested Toughie LTO Enforcer Selling Illegal Drugs in Baguio City
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested toughie LTO enforcer selling illegal drugs in the street of Baguio City.
Based on the report of the PDEA Cordillera Facebook page, a Land Transportation Office (LTO) enforcer in full uniform was arrested by narcotics agents in a sting operation in Suello Village, Baguio City. The officer was allegedly a bully in the area who usually brandishing his firearm.
With the joint force PDEA -Baguio City Office, PDEA- RSET, BCPO Station 10, CIDG-Mt. Province PFU and CDEU the operation was conducted. The enforcer sold a packet of illegal drugs called ‘shabu’ to an undercover agent.
However, tension arose when he resisted the arrest after he handed the illegal drugs. The suspect later quit resisting from the arresting team when the back-up came with assault rifles ready to engage.

The suspect was identified as Ginno Manolo Banta, a member of the Flying Squad of the Land Transportation Office-Baguio. He was known to be a bully and tough when he once posted on his Facebook account a picture of him with a gun.
The caption of his Facebook post also letting the authorities know that he is ready to fight if he will get arrested. PDEA CAR is also taking over his former drug case and why he was even allowed to work at LTO despite the previous case.
