Tiny Cat Stuck in Open Ocean Saved By Fishing Crew
FISHING CREW – A fishing crew rescued the kitten that got stuck in an open ocean.
Most cats hate water but they love that water that’s dripping from a tap. Our feline friends will fight with their claws and teeth if you force them the come close to a tub full of water.
Recently, a fishing crew, Still Flyin Charters, was surprised when they see a kitten in their nets during their fishing excursion. They shared some photos of the tiny cat on their Facebook Page.
The fishing crew was hailed as heroes after saving the cat that got stuck in the open ocean last Thursday, July 30. They were on a trip in the Gulf of Mexico near Alabama, USA when they spotted the kitten struggling in the water.
“Our catch of the day. Poor little guy was sucked out by the tide,” Still Flying Charters said.

They wrapped the cat in a towel and cradled by the children of the crew. The captain of the boat, Steve Crews, told Fox 29 that the animal is a feral or wild cat. He and his wife decided to take care of the cat.
“We caught him just outside the pass in the gulf. He was struggling to stay up. We caught him, brought him in the boat and let him recover. Our deckhand found a home for him. Can’t say you see that everyday.”
According to the report, Crews said the tiny cat still easily scared but he accepts the water and food they gave him. They have yet to decide on the name for their new pet.
