Areas of Mindanao was hit by successive earthquakes that left areas in ruin. Families were forced out of their homes and are in dire need of assistance.

This goes the same for the animals left behind in the rubble. As the dust settled after the quakes, an orphaned kitten was left in the wreckage.

However, the kitten was orphaned no longer as a monkey named Moymoy seemed to have adopted the kitten. Moymoy was caught on camera by a netizen on Facebook named Ma. Ester Marin Catorce.

Her video went viral on Facebook and has garnered over 2 thousand reactions. Adding to this, it has also been shared over 4 thousand times.

In the video, you could see Moymoy being protective of the kitten. Sometimes, Moymoy gets the kitten away from passing dogs, knowing that they might chase it.

In the comments of the video, there was a Netizen that said they were the owners of both the kitten and Moymoy.

A Facebook user named Shingshing Tajantajan told other netizens not to worry because they feed and take care of both Moymoy and the kitten.

At the same time, netizens of Facebook also flocked the comment section and lauded Moymoy for his actions. They were saying that Moymoy had sort of a motherly instinct when protecting the kitten.

On the other hand, some were concerned that the Monkey was going to eat the kitten. However, they were notified that the kitten and the monkey are being fed every morning by their owner.
