Jennylyn Mercado Pokes Fun At Harry Roque Sleeping During SONA
JENNYLYN MERCADO – GMA-7 actress Jennylyn Mercado posted a funny message about Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque’s photo sleeping during SONA.
Actress and singer Jennylyn Mercado is one of the Kapuso actresses who have been vocal about the issues that the ABS-CBN network is facing. She even slammed those who rejoiced over the media network’s shut down.
The 33- year-old actress has been receiving praise from ABS-CBN supporters. In a previous article, a netizen accused the actress that she affected by the tv network’s situation because she’s a stockholder of the company.
Jennylyn Mercado was among the people who watched President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s 5th State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday. She took to social media to share her reactions towards the chief executive’s speech.
She wants Duterte’s admin to detail their specific plans in battling the 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Instead of praising the government, she gave recognition to the frontliners.

Recently, Jennylyn Mercado took to Twitter yesterday, July 28 to poke fun at Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque’s photo allegedly sleeping during SONA 2020. She expressed her hope that her followers will be able to sleep as well as Harry. Jennylyn uploaded the photo of the spokesman seemingly napping.
“Goodnight bessies. Sana maging kasing himbing ng tulog ni Sec Roque ang tulog ninyo. Sweet dreams everyone!” she wrote.
The GMA-7 actress, however, said she was only joking.
“Joke lang Sec! Fun fun fun lang hehe,” she said in another Tweet.
