Crisis Expert Ted Esguerra Tests Positive For Coronavirus
TED ESGCUERRA – Crisis expert Dr. Ted Esguerra said he tested positive for 2019 novel coronavirus.
People around the world are urged to stay indoors to avoid getting infected by the 2019 novel coronavirus. Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte placed Luzon under “enhanced community quarantine” to control the spread of the Wuhan virus.
The number of COVID-19 cases in the country continues to increase. Today, March 30, the mayor of Taytay, Rizal, Joric Gacula, disclosed that he tested positive for coronavirus.
Recently, the disaster response and preparedness expert Dr. Ted Esguerra took to Facebook to reveal that he also tested positive for coronavirus and showed his test results. In the caption, he said he is “okay and in a positive mood.”
“I just stayed in the terrace watching a patch of heaven (view has lots of buildings as obstructions. Tsk, urban jungle) and simply accepting God’s Will in my life,” he wrote.
The crisis expert said he is currently under quarantine. He thanked all the people who sent him wellness greetings. Esguerra even managed to crack a joke.
“Don’t worry about me. I don’t want you to be alarmed. Ganito na lang: MAS MATAKOT KAYO KUNG POSITIVE AKO SA PREGNANCY TEST (Be more alarmed if I tested positive from a pregnancy test) hahaha… Tawa lang (Just laugh) to boost immune system up,” he said.
ABS-CBN reporter Jeff Conoy took to Instagram to extend his good wishes to the doctor. “Get well soon, Doc! Magsasama pa ulit tayo sa radyo nina Prof @maharlagmay. Sabi mo nga — “I can’t be strong now. But I can be brave.” We’ll also be brave for you, Doc Ted,” he wrote.
