PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration this February 24, 2020.

The latest weather update from the bureau states that the northeast monsoon or amihan will continue to affect Luzon on this day.

According to GMA, amihan will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon.

Amihan will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, as well as the rest of Luzon.

The entire Visayas and Mindanao will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

As per the report, the seaboards in the eastern section of the country and the rest of Northern Luzon will face rough coastal waters with waves reaching up to 4 meters.

The rest of the country will face moderate to rough coastal waters with wave heights reaching up to 3.1 meters.

The sun has risen at 6:16 AM and will set at 6:03 PM.
