BREAKING: Gov’t Run Media Says A Filipino Tests Positive For Wuhan Coronavirus
BREAKING: FILIPINO IN UAE POSITIVE FOR CORONAVIRUS – According to a government-run media network in UAE, a Filipino was confirmed to be infected with the Wuhan coronavirus.
According to a report from CNN, the official Emirates News Agency reported two confirmed cases of the Wuhan coronavirus. One of which was a Chinese national, the other, a Filipino.
In lieu of this, the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention stated that the patients were under observation and medical care according to their health standards.
As per the report, this would be the second case of a Filipino testing positive for the 2019 novel coronavirus. Meanwhile, in China, the number of deaths continued to rise with the death toll being over 720.
In the Philippines, there are three cases of the Wuhan coronavirus. All of them were Chinese nationals. One was a 44-year-old man who died due to the novel coronavirus.
