Over the past few days, the province Cotabato has been one of the most discussed topics online after rattled by three major earthquakes in just 16 days. The series of earthquakes damage buildings and took the lives of several residents.
On Saturday (November 2, 2019), some quake-affected residents were seen begging for help along the road. The people were holding placards asking for food, water, tent and medicine at every vehicle passing in the area.
Luckily, some vehicle drivers kindly stop and give some goods, bread and even money towards the victims of the disastrous earthquake. Another businessman identified as Mark Salahog from Digos City also shared some relief good for the quake victims.
“Sa mga gustong tumulong, sana tulungan natin sila,” the businessman said.
However, it was still unclear why the residents do not have access to the government assistance.
