Davao City’s Offers Halloween Attraction Called “Scamenteryo”
SCAMENTERYO – Investment victims in Davao City created the scariest attraction for this Halloween, they called it “Scamenteryo.”
Every Halloween, people flock to haunted houses and creepy attractions to be entertained. In a previous article, a haunted house owner in the US require visitors to sign a 40-page waiver and doctor’s letter to enter the creepy house.
If the participant successfully makes it through the haunted house, he will be going home with a $20,000 or P1,000,000. No one has ever finished the challenge yet.
In a report, Kapuso actress Maine Mendoza and her rumored boyfriend Arjo Atayde visited the creepy horror house Asylum Manila in Quezon City. The rumored couple shared some photos of their experience.
Now, Davao City offered its new attraction that will surely hook lots of people. Based on a report from ABS-CBN News, the Halloween attraction is located at Barangay Communal, Buhangin District, Davao City. it is situated in a vacant lot that looks like a cemetery.
Instead of people, various investment schemes in the Philippines were ‘buried’ in the area. According to the report, the attraction is called “Scamenteryo.” Among the investment firms that are “buried” are Rigen, Ever Arm, Aman, and Titan while the controversial Kapa is still on its funeral.
The victims of the investment scams founded the “scamenteryo” in Davao. There are 30 graves that are made up of wood and Styrofoam. A man named Jomar Uson said the internment of Kapa will be this coming November 2.
Based on the report, the workers at the furniture shop at the Communal helped construct and design the unique cemetery. The attraction caught the attention of the motorists.
One of the founders, Bong Zamora said it’s their way of expressing their dismay at their losses. He said their money didn’t grow or returned. Aside from the investment scams, they also placed graves for singles, “pakialamera,” “tsismosa” and many more. The attraction is open until November 3.
