Here’s Reason Why Kapa Founder Joel Apolinario Refuse To Surrender
KAPA – The founder of Kapa Ministry Joel Apolinario revealed the reason why he refused to surrender to the authorities.
Pastor Joel Apolinario is the founder of the religious group Kapa Community Ministry International Inc.
The founder was accused of masterminding one of the Philippine’s biggest investment scams.
The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) promised to continue the manhunt of Pastor Joel Apolinario.
District office chief lawyer Regner Peneza of NBI in Sarangani said they will pursue and arrest Apolinario even without warrant of arrest.
“The President had laid down the predicate—(that Apolinario) was committing a continuing offense and under that concept, a warrantless arrest could be affected,” said Peneza.
Pastor Joel Apolinario recently did an interview with DZMM through the phone. He doubts his safety if he appears in public.
“Naniniguro lang po… Hindi naman sa diskumpiyado ako pero nananatili pa rin sa isipan ko ang aking kaligtasan.”
Apolinario promised that he will surrender to the authorities if Kapa members asked him to.
“Nanatili pa rin ako na may duda dun sa pagpapasuko sa akin,” he added.
Pastor Joel Apolinario said when the time comes that the member of his religious group asks him to surrender, he would do it even if it cost him his life.
“Sabagay, darating din ang panahon na kung gusto na ng mga members na ako ay lumantad para sa kanila ay pati buhay ko po itataya ko po basta para sa kagustuhan ng mga members,” said Apolinario.
