Chinese Tourist Nabbed For Smoking Boracay Police
CHINESE – A Chinese tourist punched a Boracay police after being called out for smoking in a public area.
Lots of Filipinos reacted to the aggressive move of the Chinese in the West Philippine Sea. Aside from that, they are also alarmed by the treatment of the Chinese nationals towards them.
In a previous article, a video of a Chinese woman letting her toddler defecate in Boracay beach went viral on social media. A local tourist who took the video expressed her disgust over their actions in public.
After the incident, the management of the island decided to close that portion of the beach for clean-up. A beach guard found a used diaper on the shore. A cop said it could be the diaper of the foreigner’s child.
Recently, another Chinese national violate a law on Boracay Island. Based on a report from GMA News, a police officer caught the Chinese businessman named Dennis Chong throwing his cigarette butt on the sand.
According to the report, the police officer approached the Chinese and told him that he just violated their policy. The foreigner then punched the cop’s face after being called out for smoking. He was arrested and brought to the Malay Police Station.
The cop said the foreigner was charged with violation of anti-littering, anti-smoking ordinance, and direct assault against a person of authority.
