RJ Bautista and 5 others cleared from Ramgen Revilla case.
RAMGEN REVILLA CASE – The accused suspects of Ramgen Revilla slay in 2011 were cleared and acquitted of the crime by Parañaque Regional Trial Court (RTC).
The death of Ramgen Jose Bautista or also known as Ramgen Revilla remained a mystery despite many years have already passed after it happened. The suspects of the slain were still not identified yet but the accused persons including his brother RJ Bautista and 5 others got detained.
And now, 8 years after, the 6 accused men got acquitted of the crime at Paranaque court.
A part of the resolution read:
“WHEREFORE, premises considered, this honorable court hereby finds the accused Ramon Joseph Bautista y Magsaysay, accused Michael Jay Nartea y Cruz, accused Roy Francis Tolisora y Herrera alias Kiko, accused Glaiza Visda y Rivera alias Glaiza Vista, accused Jan Norwin Dela Cruz y Gentelizo alias Toto, and accused Ryan Pastera y Montinola alias Bryan, NOT GUILTY and are hereby ACQUITTED of the charge against them in Criminal Case No. 11-1169 for Frustrated Murder of Janelle Ann Caren Manahan y Quintano and in Criminal Case No. 11-1170 for the murder of Ramgen Jose Bautista y Magsaysay for lack of sufficient evidence, and they are hereby ORDERED RELEASED from detention unless they are being held for some other valid or lawful cause.”
Ramgen was just then 23 years old when he got killed in his house by hit men allegedly hired by his siblings RJ and Ramona. In the said crime incident, Janelle Manahan, who was with him at such particular time, was shot on the face and also sustained stab wounds but fortunately survived and stood as top witness for the mysterious murder case.
