List of Canned Meat Products Affected by African Swine Fever Revealed by FDA
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) released the list of canned meat products affected by the African Swine Fever (ASF).
Over the past few weeks, FDA exerts extra effort to implement the temporary ban of processed pork meat products allegedly affected by the African Swine Fever.
The agency also ordered a recall and seizure of imported canned meats to prevent the virus from affecting the livestock in the Philippines.

Here are some of the canned meat products covered by the recall:
- Narcissus
- Heaven Temple
- Ma Ling
- Shabu Shabu
- Sol Primo
- Wang Taste of Korea
- Highway
- Sky Dragon
- Weilin

The ASF allegedly affects several countries including China, Hungary, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Russia, and Ukraine, Vietnam, Zambia, South Africa, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Mongolia, Moldova, and Belgium.

It was the Philippine Association of Meat Processors Inc. (PAMPI) urged FDA to reveal the brands of canned meat products covered by the recall.
