Actor Kier Legaspi exposed the real “attitude” of his daughter Dani Barretto with Marjorie Barretto.
Previously, Dani revealed the status of her relationship with her biological father. She said that she has no communication with him for six years now.
“And up until now, we’re still not in good terms… To be honest, my Dad and I never really had a solid relationship. All I know is he’s my Dad and that’s it,” she said.
Behind this statement from Dani, Kier wrote a heartfelt message for her engagement.
Gretchen Barretto also defended the actor and belied Dani’s statement about her father.
Kier Legaspi thanked Greta for what she did for him.
In a recent interview with Abante columnist Ambet Nabus, the actor revealed the attitude of his daughter.
“Ngayon ko lang sasabihin ito not make her or them look bad, pero lagi lang akong nandiyan. Nu’ng mga times na naglalayas siya sa nanay niya, sa akin siya tumitira. Nu’ng nasa mama (Mommy Hershey Legaspi) ko pa kami nakatira, dun din siya naglalagi at nakasama niya kami ng mama ko sa paglaki niya. So, nagtataka ako kung saan nanggaling itong para akong stranger sa buhay niya?” he said.
The actor admitted that his relationship with his daughter may not be perfect but he was really a father to her.
“There were even times when I tried to reach out to her, at nakaiskedyul na kaming magkita, pero siya itong magka-cancel o magba-back out dahil meron siyang ibang gagawin o pupunta siya sa Cebu for work, mga ganu’ng incidents,” Kier Legaspi added.
Despite the bad comments from Dani, as a father, Kier said, “I have but still love for her. Anak ko siya at alam kong alam niya ang totoo sa tunay na nangyayari.”
