FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano Remains Unrivaled According to Kantar Media Data
ANG PROBINSYANO – Coco Martin’s tv series FPJ’s Ang probinsyano remained unrivaled in national tv ratings.
Kapamilya’s longest airing action drama tv series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano is top-billed by Coco Martin. The program is on its third year of entertaining the Filipino people.
Following a previous article, the show is set to have its final episode after the May 2019 elections.
The characters of Ang Probinsyano may come and go but the fans continued their suppor to the ABS-CBN tv series.
Rival networks have tried to beat the ratings of the program, however, Coco Martin’s show still rises above.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN, the Kapamilya network lead this year’s rating score according to the market research firm, Kantar Media.
ABS-CBN garnered 45% of audience share in January that is 15% higher than the Kapuso network whick only got 30%. The scores are gathered from the 2,610 rural and urban homes in the Philippines.
According to the report, in Metro Manila ABS-CBN scored 44% while 23% in GMA, in Mega Manila 37% versus 28%, Luzon 40% versus 32 percent.
In Visayas scored 54% versus 25% and in Mindanao Kapamilya scored 55% versus 26%.
Ang Probinsyano remained the most watch primetime series in the Philippines with 41.0%. The new programs of the network also obtained a higher ratings.
The tv series of Angel Locsin “The General’s Daughter” gathered 39.1% while the reality dance competition of Luis Manzano and Pia Wurtzbach got 30.8%.
Based on the report, the Kapamilya network continued to rule the tv shows in the country earning 50% average compared to the 29% of the Kapuso network.
Aside from tv programs, ABS-CBN also offers online streaming service on their iWant tv website and app.
