Kick Out The Seven Policeman Who Are Trigger-Happy, Says Senator Panfilo Lacson
SEVEN POLICEMEN – Sen. Panfilo Lacson recently urged the authorities to immediately kick out the seven policemen who indiscriminately fire their guns.
From December 16 to 30, there were a total of 19 police officers who were arrested for illegal discharge of firearms. The other violators include
six civilians, two government officials, two security guards, a member of another law enforcement agency and a soldier. As of January 1 (Tuesday), the number of officers who got caught rose up to 23
As reported, PNP spokesperson Senior Superintendent Benigno Durana did not reveal the identity of the arrested to the public.
Recently, as reported by Inquirer, Senator Panfilo Lacson posted on Twitter urging the PNP Chief Superintendent Oscar Albayalde to immediately dismiss the seven officers who are among the 23, citing the consequences of letting them loose.
“What if someone got hit and died, or paralyzed? *** these ***! They have no purpose in life, really. Give them the boot ASAP, Chief. “

Lacson also urged the PNP to sustain its internal cleansing efforts, as rogue cops “do not deserve to stay a minute longer in the police service.”
As per the report, Lacson made the statement after Albayalde announced that the said seven officers face administrative cases for illegal discherge of firearms.
