Manny Pacquiao Won’t Let Mayweather Talk Distract Him From Adrien Broner Bout
MANNY PACQUIAO – Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao won’t let Floyd Mayweather talk distract him from his upcoming bout against Adrien Broner.
Filipino senator and boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao is one of the richest personalities not only in the Philippines but also in different countries around the world.
Pacquiao dedicated himself to his career in boxing for many years which gave him fame, honor and wealth. Pacman declared that he has P2.9 billion net worth based on his 2017 Statements of Assets, Liabilities, and Net (SALN).
Manny Pacquiao received his biggest payment last May 2015 after fighting the undefeated American boxer, Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Based on a report from GMA, Pacquaio stated his rematch with Mayweather Jr. must wait until after his WBA Welterweight title defense.
He announced that news during his conference to promote his Jan. 19 fight with Adrien Broner in Las Vegas.
“Floyd, if he comes out of retirement, we will see after this fight,” said Pacquiao.
Manny Pacquiao expressed he cannot underestimate his upcoming fight with Broner. He has to get through his WBA Welterweight fight before he gets to talk about a rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr.
His fight with Mayweather was dubbed as The Fight of the Century and there have been speculations about a rematch ever since Floyd scored a unanimous decision over Pacquiao.
Manny Pacquiao revealed that Mayweather wanted to challenge him. He answered that he got to come out of his retirement so he can challenge him.
“I got the belt and you have to challenge me and come out from your retirement,” Pacquiao said.
The Filipino boxer explained that he responded to him that way because he notices that Floyd was trying to bully him.
“And I decided that… I said that, because in that situation he (was) trying to bully me or whatever,” he said on the report.
Manny Pacquiao is certain that he has to avoid distractions from Floyd Mayweather topics. He has to focus on defending his WBA welterweight title and defeat Adrien Broner first.
