LOOK: Mocha Uson Breaks Silence On Controversial “Federalism” Game Show Video

Mocha Uson Asserts Game Show Got Nothing To Do with ConCom’s Draft

MOCHA USON – Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson broke her silence on her and a blogger’s controversial video taken during a “game show”.

Based on a report, PCOO Asec. Mocha Uson earned criticisms following her game show video about federalism. In the said video, Uson’s co-host, blogger Drew Olivar, danced and many people undeniably did not like the steps and as well as the tune.

One of those who reacted is former Senate President Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III. According to the Senator, he was wrong about thinking that Uson can help in the awareness-raising campaign for federalism.

Furthermore, Sen. Pimentel stated that PCOO Asec. Mocha Uson needs to take a leave and to study first.

The move to change the type of government in the Philippines is one of the targets of the administration of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. The push for it is now ongoing and the Consultative Committee’s draft is set to be approved by the President.

Through a social media post on her Facebook page MOCHA USON BLOG, the PCOO Assistant Secretary broke her silence on the issue about the controversial game show video.

According to Uson, editing the video and taking the context is clearly part of the campaign to drive away the attention of the people from the important topics. She stated that their game show has nothing to do with the ConCom’s draft and it is also not part of the “informative drive” about federalism.

“Ang game show po namin, kahit na katuwaan lamang, ay walang intensyon na maliitin ang Pederalismo,” she stated.

Based on her social media post. PCOO Asec. Mocha Uson and the blogger’s goal is to encourage the viewers to talk about federalism more as it is one of the promises of Pres. Duterte. Here is her full post:
