Thunderstorm Advisory Released By PAGASA In Selected Areas
The state weather bureau PAGASA has released a thunderstorm advisory in the following areas and advised affected residents to take precautionary measures.
On Saturday (August 04, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) issued a thunderstorm warning over some parts of the country.
PAGASA reported that the thunderstorms would bring heavy rains with lightning and strong winds over Bataan, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, and Quezon.
Metro Manila, Zambales, Cavite, Laguna, and Batangas would be also affected by the thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon would bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over Mimaropa, Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, and ARMM.
The weather agency has also warned the residents in the affected area to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides.
Thunderstorm advisory means that specific areas are threatened within the next few hours.
