Mocha Uson hits back at bashers.
MOCHA USON – The Asec. Mocha Uson hits back at bashers following criticisms over Thomasian Alumni Award for Government Service given to her from the University Of Santo Tomas (UST).
Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson on Sunday, January 21, expressed gratitude for the award she recently received from her alumni, the University Of Santo Tomas (UST).
Upon receiving the award, there were those who are not in favor of that fact but anyway, the award was still given to her.
One of which who objected was the UST Central Student Council (CSC) as they slammed the alumni association’s decision whom they regarded Mocha as “does not, in any way, embody the ideals of a real Thomasian.”
According to a report from the Inquirer, the UST CSC indicated in a statement, “With all due respect, Ms. Esther Margaux Mocha Justiniano Uson, does not deserve an award that was supposed to be meant solely for outstanding Thomasian alumni.”
But the UST AAI defended and reasoned out, “The sole criteria are for the recipient/s to be a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas and in government service.”
Thus, the PCOO Assistant Secretary hits back at the objections as she stated, “[Nagpapasalamat] po ako sa UST Alumni Association sa award po na ito. Enjoy your freedom ofexpression/speech.”
