AI-AI DELAS ALAS – The comedienne Ai-Ai delas Alas finally breaks her silence over allegations that Kris Aquino is not invited to her church wedding.
The Kapuso comedienne is truly excited to finally tie the knot with her partner Gerald Sibayan on December 12, 2017, with their star-studded wedding and entourage.
Of course, on a normal basis, this very special moment is meant to be shared with and to be witnessed by people closest to your heart and those who also play a significant role in your life.
And Ai-Ai delas Alas is known to have Kris Aquino as one of her closest friend in the show business.
While they were still artists under the Kapamilya network, the two actresses seemed to be really close but there came an issue between that caused their friendship to break.
They eventually brought their friendship back but the old relationship did not.
And now that Ai-Ai is just waiting for several months for her dream church wedding to happen with her dream man, allegations have surfaced that she did not give Kris Aquino an invitation.
Thus, the Kapuso actress broke her silence and responded to rumors.
According to a report from the Philippine Entertainment Portal (Pep), Ai-Ai did not directly answer the issue but have released her statement.
She said, “Importante sa akin ang araw na yun, kaya sana huwag nang intrigahin. Sana isaalang-alang at igalang nila ang feelings ko.”
Furthermore, Ai-Ai explained, “Mas pipiliin ko na huwag sagutin ang mga intriguing question dahil kahit ano pa ang isagot ko, siguradong may sasabihin ang haters at bashers. Sabi nga, ‘There’s always peace in silence. A meaningful silence is always better than meaningless words.’”
