Sharon Cuneta was asked about KIko Pangilinan’s issue with Robin Padilla
Robin Padilla-Kiko Pangilinan Issue – Megastar Sharon Cuneta was asked about the issue that occurred between her husband and her former leading man.
The issue involving the two senators started when an argument took place between them regarding the International Criminal Court (ICC) warrant of arrest issued against Sen. Bato dela Rosa.
Padilla defended Dela Rosa, since they are allies. Pangilinan, stressing his point, raised his voice, and this did not sit well with Padilla, who felt that he was disrespected and expressed his intention to file an ethics complaint against his fellow senator.
A video also circulated online when Sen. Kiko Pangilinan was seen offering a shake hand to Sen. Robin Padilla, but the latter refused to accept it.
In a recent episode of Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Sharon Cuneta was asked about the issue between her husband and her former leading man.
The Megastar shared that she was aware of the issue and the memes that circulated. When asked about her reaction to the memes, Sharon answered, “No comment. Ganito na lang, ‘Uy, ex ko. Uy, husband ko.’ Tapos na. Stops there.” She added, “I don’t want to comment because sa amin, it was a non-issue.”
The veteran actress-singer was also asked about the statement of BB Gandanghari, Sen. Robin’s sibling, stressing that she decided to withdraw her support for Pangilinan because of the said issue.
“Sa akin, I respect naman kung ano ‘yung paniniwala ng bawat tao. Hindi ko mai-impose ‘yung beliefs ko sa isang kaibigan. I never had to do that,” the Megastar said.
However, Sharon Cuneta hoped that the friendship would not be compromised just because of different beliefs. “Kasi mahal ko siya e,” she added, but stressed that she knows people change.
