The viral video showed a Victory Liner bus with body number 696 suddenly appearing in the opposite lane while navigating a curve on a wet road. The stretch of road had a solid yellow line; a traffic marking that clearly indicates overtaking is not allowed.
The situation became even more dangerous because a motorcycle was approaching from the opposite direction at the time the bus moved into the other lane. Many viewers said the incident could have easily resulted in a serious accident if either vehicle had been traveling faster or failed to react in time.
