A tricycle driver was left devastated after the carburetor and CDI of his motorcycle were allegedly stolen while he was waiting in line to receive financial assistance.
Recently, Marissa Avila Lete, a Facebook user, shared the experience of her father, a tricycle driver, whose motorcycle parts were stolen while he was lining up for aid distribution. The post quickly went viral and drew reactions from netizens online.
According to Marissa, her father went to the Binangonan Municipal Hall to receive his fuel subsidy, a program intended to help tricycle drivers cope with rising fuel costs. Like many other beneficiaries, he patiently waited in line to claim the assistance.
However, when he returned to where he had parked his tricycle, he was shocked to find that the carburetor and CDI of his motorcycle were missing. These are important components needed for the vehicle to run properly. Without them, the tricycle could no longer be used for daily operations.

“WARNING!!! Humihngi po kami ng tulong at pakikiisa ng lahat.
Habang ang aking papa ay nasa Munisipyo ng Binangonan upang kumuha ng kanyang Fuel Subsidy/ AYUDA para sa kanyang tricycle, isang bagay ang hindi namin inaasahang mangyayari. Pagbalik niya sa kanyang tricycle, nakita niyang wala na ang karburador at CDI nito.
Ang tricycle na iyon ang pinagkukunan ng kabuhayan ni papa. Araw-araw itong ginagamit ng aking papa upang kumita nang marangal
Sa halip na makauwi na may kaunting tulong mula sa subsidy program, umuwi siyang problemado at nag-aalala kung saan kukuha ng pambili ng piyesa at paano muli makakabiyahe upang kumita.
Kaya naman nananawagan po kami sa ating mga kababayan at maging sa mga kinauukulan, lalo na sa Pamahalaang Bayan ng Binangonan, na sana ay mabigyan ng pansin ang insidenteng ito.
