The Philippine National Police Counter Intelligence Task Force (PNP-CITF) files criminal charges and dismissed a certain police official who allegedly beat a man inside the precinct in Quezon City.
Madrona rushed and mauled a man, which was named as alias “David” who suffered several punches and kicks from the police official.
David was driving along the Pearl Drive u-turn slot in Commonwealth when Madrona’s vehicle suddenly stops in front of him. He explained that their vehicle overlapped, their conversation heats up after David went off the car to take photographs of the collision, but he didn’t know that Madrona is a cop.
“Sinabihan niya ako na hindi mo gugustuhin na makilala ako. Sabi ko naman huwag ninyong daanin sa palakasan at doon nag-init siya, hinawakan niya ang damit ko sa gitna, dalawang kamay, pag piglas ko nabutas na ang damit ko tapos tumakbo na ‘ko,” said by David quoted by Definitely Filipino.
David immediately runs to the nearest police station, but Madrona repeatedly beat him. After beating him the police official brought inside the precinct and detained him.
The police official urges David to sign a document stating that he admits to being guilty in the accident. David signed the documents fearing for his life and assuring that he can get out of the precinct safely.
Chief Inspector Jewel Nicanor said that they form a team to investigate if the incident was recorded. Nicanor also advised the public to immediately report any violence or abused they have experienced from some police.
