Joshua Garcia talked about his first series with Ivana Alawi

Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia revealed something about his love scene with actress-vlogger Ivana Alawi in the upcoming series Love Is Never Gone.

The series will be available to watch on Friday, May 8, on Prime Video presented by Dreamscape Entertainment and ABS-CBN Studios.

Some scenes were shot in Morocco and in a recent on Ang Walang Kuwentang Podcast of directors JP Habac and Tonette Jadaone, Joshua admitted that he stood in as an audioman during the shooting of the series in Morocco where they stayed for two weeks.

Although the full production of “Love is Never Gone” was included in Morocco, they also had to help speed up the shoot.

Then, Direk Tonet asked if she also acted as the assistant director, the actor casually answered, “Oo double pay ‘yun, eh.” Joshua Garcia also shared that they helped one another in order for the shoot to be finished as early as possible.

The Kapamilya actor mentioned that the shots abroad were really beautiful. For him, they were softer, and they did not need to apply makeup.

In the same interview, Joshua also shared some details about his love scene with Ivana. “Sinet up ng PD (production design) kasi bawal mag love scene sa Morocco kasi Muslim country,” he said.

This meant that their actual love scene was not shot in Morocco and their production designer had to be creative to make it look like that they were in the said country.

Joshua Garcia explained that it has been a way for production designers to make the audience believe that the actors are in a certain place. However, the Kapamilya actor pointed out that some PDs could be less creative when it comes to this aspect.
