Previously, Jodi shared her experience working with Sanya, the only Kapuso star in the main cast. The Kapamilya actress said that Sanya is not just “magaling” but also a good person.

In a recent interview, based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment, Sanya Lopez shared that learning Japanese was challenging.

Midnight Girls is about Pinay OFWs who work as bar hostesses. In the movie Sanya played the character of Paris, a charming but materialistic woman. She shared that the film’s beautiful story, and its honest and raw theme, made her say yes to this project.

This is something new to her and she was excited to work with the other cast members. She also shared that Nihongo was a big challenge.

“Sana ay nagustuhan ninyo. So lahat ng yun, nakaka-challenge tapos Nihongo pa (yung dialogue),” the Kapuso actress shared. She also shared that while speaking Japanese, she had to convey certain emotions.

Their coach helped them in how they would pronounce Japanese words. This was one of the preparations they made for the movie.
