Star Magic released this teaser and netizens guessed it was Janine Gutierrez
Actress Janine Gutierrez reportedly transferred to Star Magic from her previous management LVD Artist Management Corp. of Leo Dominguez.
Janine rose to fame as one of the Kapuso leading ladies. In 2021, she decided to transfer to the Kapamilya network. She has been under LVD since 2017.
The talent management company’s founder Leo Dominguez passed away in May 2024. Based on the article in PEP, he was the one who negotiated with ABS-CBN for Janine’s network transfer five years ago.
Just recently, Star Magic, the talent management company of ABS-CBN, released a teaser featuring a female celebrity with the caption, “It Just keeps Getting intriguing,” and the hashtag was “JG.”
There’s also a post with the caption, “Just a Glimpse of what’s to come“ and the date “4.13.2026.” Based on the showbiz news outlet, a source revealed that Janine Gutierrez had already signed a contract with Star Magic early this year.
The source did not reveal the reason behind Janine’s decision to transfer to Star Magic. However, the source stressed that the actress left her previous company without any issue. “Maayos naman ang pag-alis ni Janine sa LVD,” the source shared.
On the other hand, Janine’s mom, seasoned actress Lotlot de Leon remained being under LVD.
It was said that Janine was not the first who left LVD Management and transferred to Star Magic. Actor Paulo Avelino left LVD after Leo’s death, and Star Magic officially announced his transfer in June 2025.
Actor James Blanco who was previously under LVD is now being managed by CreaZion Studios Artists.
Meanwhile, aside from her blooming career in the entertainment industry, Janine Gutierrez is also happy about her love life. She is currently in a relationship with A-list actor Jericho Rosales, who is very supportive of her endeavors.
