TANGHALAN NG KAMPEON CONTESTANT – Grand finalist Eula Bautista is now in good condition after collapsing amid a performance.
In the recent episode of the noontime program TiktoClock, viewers were alarmed when a contestant suddenly collapsed on stage during the singing segment “Tanghalan ng Kampeon” on Tuesday, March 10.
Singer Eula Bautista collapsed while competing in the program’s singing segment. She was performing in the back-to-back singing round, and what happened suddenly left those in the studio shocked.
Bautista was immediately attended to by medical personnel and was brought backstage to rest. She was put under monitoring and received first aid to avoid further complications. “TiktoClock” program manager Charles Koo said they immediately assisted Eula.
She complained about the numbing of her upper lip. Based on an update, she is now in good condition. In an interview, she shared that what she initially felt was the numbing of her lower body, and gradually, the numbing spread until she could already feel it in her face.
Then, everything went blurry around her. She was even thinking she was having a stroke.
Bautista said she was informed that the incident was likely caused by a lack of oxygen, possibly due to the corset she had been wearing for more than five hours. The singer shared that she had been in a tightly fitted corset for several hours while rehearsing and preparing for the show. She was also wearing six-inch heels, which added strain to her body. The combined pressure caused numbness to spread through parts of her body, and she gradually began to lose awareness.
After the incident, she underwent some tests, and the results were normal.
