Onemig Bondoc Declares Aiko Melendez As Future Wife
ONEMIG BONDOC – Romance is clearly in the air as Onemig Bondoc openly admits that Aiko Melendez is the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with.
Actor, businessman, and now vlogger Onemig Bondoc has openly declared that he is ready to settle down with Councilor Aiko Melendez, confidently saying she is the woman he wants to marry.
During an intimate dinner personally organized by Aiko for selected members of the media, friends who, as she shared, had been with her since her early days in showbiz, the couple warmly entertained questions about their relationship. Laughing at the unexpected turn of the evening, Aiko remarked, “Dinner lang talaga tayo, catching up, tapos may ganitong interview na?”
Later that night, when we had the chance to briefly speak with Onemig, also known as Uno, we asked if wedding plans were already in motion. Without hesitation, he answered, “Oo naman, siya naman talaga na, pero siyempre may mga dapat i-consider pa. Kung baga timing lang.”
Their relationship has the full support of their families. Both of their parents approve, and even their children are happy about their union. Onemig has entrusted Aiko with the details of their future wedding. She shared her preference for either a beach or garden setting, especially since it will be a Christian wedding. For Onemig, however, the venue is secondary. He said he would be fine even with a simple ceremony at City Hall, as long as he is marrying Aiko and no one else.
Uno couldn’t help but smile when it was pointed out that Aiko had become more vocal about her feelings on social media. Unlike in her previous relationships, where posts were mostly formal and rarely showed sweetness, she now openly shares affectionate moments, with Onemig being the only exception.
As for returning to showbiz, Onemig made his decision clear. “Wala na talaga, dati nu’ng nagpahinga ako sabi ko babalik ako, pero nagustuhan ko parang mas okay pala kaya tinuloy ko nang hindi.
“Saka parang hindi ko na kayang magpuyat, lalo na may mga anak ako na pawang nag-aaral pa, tapos may work din ako,” he said.
Now focused on fatherhood and business, Onemig practices co-parenting with his children’s mothers and proudly considers himself a hands-on dad. He even shared, “Yung panganay ko (Armelle,18) gustong mag-artista kaso ayaw ng lolo,” revealing a lighthearted family dynamic.
The couple is also preparing to launch a new business venture soon, while staying busy with their travel vlogs loved by their “OneKo” supporters. As Uno happily shared, “We are doing this for the fans, hindi namin ini-expect na sa tanda naming ito may fans kami.”
