Recently, after ruling that the two impeachment raps were sufficient in form, the House Justice panel junked the two impeachment complaints against Marcos Jr. for the ‘insufficiency in substance’. The President himself was recently asked about his reaction to the decision of the House.

“Of course, I’m glad that the impeachment complaints against me have been finished and as the statement that we made earlier, we can get on with our work because these things are distractions from what we are doings,” Marcos Jr. said.

Pres. Bongbong Marcos also claimed that he is not very worried over the impeachment raps against him. According to News5, the Chief Executive called the filing of impeachment complaints against him as allegedly a “political move”.

“I wasn’t very worried because I saw the impeachment complaint I knew that I will be alright in terms of the impeachment kasi wala naman, there were no real ground. It was a political move as usual,” the President said based on the post.

Previously, Marcos Jr. claimed that his son, Cong. Sandro Marcos, allegedly did not inform him that he will not participate in the House process of the impeachment complaint against him.
