Student Expresses Dismay After Being Denied Money Hunt Prize by Vlogger
A vlogger’s money hunt was criticized after the prize was not awarded to the male student due to the claim that he was not in uniform.
Recently, Cris Hippers Vlog, a Facebook user, shared the video of the male student who failed to win the prize in the money hunt because he was allegedly not wearing a uniform. The post quickly went viral and garnered reactions online.
In the video, the student can be seen eagerly knocking on a car window to claim the cash prize. His excitement was clear, and he believed he had followed all the rules of the game. However, the vlogger refused to give him the money, explaining that only students wearing a school uniform were qualified to win.

In response, the student showed his school ID and explained that he was wearing their official departmental uniform. His polo shirt had a visible logo, and his ID clearly identified him as a student.
Despite this, the vlogger insisted that the uniform did not meet the requirement and stood firm on the decision. Instead, the content creator handed the prize to a female student wearing a white uniform.
Many viewers pointed out that not all schools have the same type of uniform. Some students wear polo shirts depending on their department, schedule, or school policy. Because of this, netizens felt that the rules of the money hunt should have been clearer and more specific to avoid misunderstandings.
A lot of people online felt sorry for the student, especially after seeing how excited he was at first. Some commented that he even arrived ahead of others, yet still walked away empty-handed. Others also felt that posting the video publicly added to his embarrassment.
Although the student later received P500 as a small consolation, many believed it was still unfair.
The social media users expressed their reactions to the video:
