Enrique Gil said that he is open to having a new relationship
Kapamilya actor Enrique Gil admitted that he is single right now, and he said that he hopes to find new love in 2026.
Enrique was in a relationship with actress Liza Soberano for many years, but three years ago, they broke up, as the latter has said in her controversial video. For quite some time, LizQuen fans were hoping the breakup speculations were not true.
This year, female personalities were linked to him. His photos with actress Franki Russell in a beach resort circulated online last September. With that, it was rumored that something romantic was going on between them.
A month after that, his sweet photos with social media personality Andres Brown surfaced online. It was also speculated that they are in a relationship. The actor received bashing because it was alleged that Andrea is still a minor. However, she emphasized in her TikTok bio that she is no longer a minor.
When Enrique was asked about these two women being linked to him, he said that he and Russell just happened to be together in a beach resort because their common friend, who owned the place, invited them.
When it comes to Andrea, he said that they are just friends and happened to have TikTok collabs.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Inquirer, Enrique Gil said that he is open to finding a girlfriend next year. “Wala eh (I’m not dating anyone), let’s see. In 2026, maybe? Let’s see. If it comes, it comes but I am open,” he said.
For now, the actor is focused on promoting his movie Manila’s Finest, which is one of the official entries in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2025. “Last year, nasa MMFF ako but [it’s been a while] since I did drama. I did comedy first, then horror,” the actor said. He was referring to the movie Strange Frequencies: Taiwan Killer Hospital.
