The Best Actor of FAMAS 2025 is Vice Ganda, and she is dedicating this award to these people.
VICE GANDA – The ABS-CBN superstar won the Best Actor award in the FAMAS 2025, and she is offering this recognition to the queer youth.
In the Best Actor category of the 73rd Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards, actors Vice Ganda and Arjo Atayde share the recognition. The ABS-CBN superstar comedian personally received her award during the awarding that was held at the Manila Hotel.
She wore an elegant black gown adorned with gold jewelry to receive one of the major awards of her blockbuster movie “And The Breadwinner Is.”
In her speech, she expressed that she felt pressure to have been seated with movie icon Vilma Santos and award-winning actress Nadine Lustre. She then went on to share that she first received her award from FAMAS years ago with the inaugural Dolphy King of Comedy Award. Her mother, Rosario Viceral, accepted the award on her behalf.
She is dedicating her award to the queer youth in hopes that it will inspire them to embrace possibilities.
Vice added, “As a queer kid, as a queer person, you can be the best makeup artist, you can be the best hairstylist, you can be the best fashion designer, you can be the best educator, you can be the best politician, you can be the best actress, and you can also be the best actor.”
She stressed that there are unlimited possibilities for them.
The ABS-CBN star is also dedicating her award to her movie’s director, Jun Lana, the person who made him an actor. She is also grateful to the entire film’s production staff and cast, and to veteran actress Malou De Guzman for being her acting coach.
“Lord, thank you so much because you’re making me win, win, win no matter what,” she concluded.
