PAGASA Says Typhoon Bising to Exit PAR Today

PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that Typhoon Bising will bring rains over parts of the country.

On Monday (July 7, 2025), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. Typhoon Bising will affect the country’s weather conditions.

PAGASA weather specialist Daniel James Villamil reported that Typhoon Bising reentered PAR at 11:00 p.m. on Sunday (July 6). Bising was last spotted at 405 km northwest of Itbayat, Batanes, packing maximum sustained winds of 130 kilometers per hour and with gustiness of up to 180 kph.

The typhoon has slightly weakened as it travels over the northwestern portion of Taiwan. It is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Monday morning. However, it will enhance the southwest monsoon.

Itong southwest monsoon o yung hangin habagat patuloy na magdudulot ng mataas na tsansa ng pagulan dito sa malaking bahagi ng Luzon at western sections ng Visayas at sa Mindanao,” Villamil said.

Bising is predicted to make another landfall over eastern China by Tuesday (July 8, 2025). No tropical cyclone wind signals were raised over any parts of the country.

“Sa nalalabing bahagi ng Luzon as well as itong central and eastern sections ng Visayas at sa Mindanao ay mas maaliwalas sa panahon na ating inasahan maliban na lamang sa mga biglaan at panandaliang pag-ulan na dulot ng thunderstorms,” he added.

The weather agency has advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
