PAGASA Says Tropical Storm Bising to Affect PH Weather Condition
PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that Tropical Storm Bising’s trough will bring rains over parts of the country.
On Saturday (July 5, 2025), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. Tropical Storm Bising will affect the country’s weather conditions.
PAGASA Weather Specialist Grace Castañeda reported that the trough of Tropical Storm Bising will bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rains and thunderstorms to Batanes and the Babuyan Islands.

Bising was last spotted 480 kilometers west of Basco, Batanes, packing maximum sustained winds of 75 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 90 kph. It is expected to reenter the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
“At makikita nga po natin ngayon dito sa ating satellite animation na bagam’t nasa labas ito ng ating area of responsibility ay yung traff or extension nito ay magdudulot pa rin ngayong araw ng mga pag-ulan dito sa bahagi ng Extreme Northern Luzon,” Castañeda said.
The southwest monsoon will bring cloudy skies and rains over Luzon including Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan, and Antique, as well as the rest of the country.

“Samantala, ang Southwest Monson o Habagat naman po ay patuloy pa ring nakakaapekto sa malaking bahagi ng ating bansa at magdadala pa rin ito ng mga pag-ulan lalong-lalo na dito sa kanlurang bahagi ng Luzon,” she added.
The weather agency has advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains and severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the Northwestern seaboard of Ilocos Sur and the seaboard of Batanes will be moderate to rough.
Slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions over the remaining parts of the country will be slightly to moderate, according to PAGASA. Small seacrafts are advised to take precautionary measures during sea travel.
