105-Year-Old Grandmother in Occidental Mindoro Dies in Hit-and-Run Incident
The 105-year-old grandmother of a local vlogger has lost her life in a hit-and-run incident in Occidental Mindoro.
The centenarian identified as Rosalina “Apong” Dela Rosa, unfortunately, passed away after being hit by a vehicle in Barangay Cabacao, Abra de Ilog, Occidental Mindoro, on June 18, 2025. She was declared dead at the scene.
Apong Rosalina was known to many social media users as the beloved grandmother who was often seen in the videos of a local content creator. Her warm personality and wise words had touched many netizens who watched the vlogs.

According to reports, the elderly woman was walking home around midnight when a loud crash was heard in the neighborhood. Some residents, concerned by the noise, stepped outside to check and were shocked to find her lifeless body on the road.
No vehicles were seen nearby, suggesting that the driver quickly escaped after the accident. The online community was heartbroken by her sudden death, especially since Apong had just celebrated her 105th birthday a few days earlier.
Team AgustinTV, the content creator, shared clips of Lola Rosalina, saying that she had been giving words of wisdom that now feel like her final messages.
Authorities from the Abra de Ilog police have not yet shared any updates on the driver responsible for the accident. The family is now calling for the person involved to surrender and face the consequences of their actions.
“Sakit sa dibdib. Ang saya-saya natin diyan, ‘di ko lubos maisip na isang linggo lang pinalipas mo,” Lyn Agustin Zapatero said.
