All Secretaries of Pres. Bongbong Marcos Cabinet Asked To Tender Resignation

BONGBONG MARCOS – The President ordered a courtesy resignation of all his cabinet secretaries following the results of the 2025 Elections.

Last Saturday, the Commission on Elections or COMELEC officially proclaimed the winners of the 2025 Senatorial Election. Six (6) candidates endorsed by Marcos Jr.’s Alyansa Para Sa Pagbabago won a seat in the Senate.

Among the Alyansa bets who secured a Senate seat was outgoing Las Piñas District Representative Camille Villar who was also endorsed by Vice Pres. Sara Duterte amid his feud with the Chief Executive. Five (5) candidates endorsed by the Vice President won in the senatorial elections and the other two (2) winners were known opposition senators-elect Bam Aquino and Kiko Pangilinan.

Pres. Bongbong Marcos immediately thanked the Filipinos who voted in the 2025 Elections. He assured that while not all the bets of the Alyansa won a seat in the Senate, their mission and work will continue. He previously called on the Filipinos to vote for the bets of the grand alliance for the continuity of the projects started by his administration.

In one of his recent statements, Pres. Bongbong Marcos admitted his realization from the 2025 Election results that the Filipinos are disappointed over the government’s service. He also claimed that he realized that the people are tired of politicking and are calling to be prioritized.

According to Marcos Jr., his administration was busy on the long-term projects that were not felt by the Filipinos because although they are beneficial, they would take years. He vowed to boost the delivery of the basic services to the people.

Recently, Pres. Bongbong Marcos called for a courtesy resignation of all the Cabinet secretaries for the recalibration of the administration. Based on a report on Inquirer, the Chief Executive stressed that “this is not business as usual”.

Marcos said that the people have spoken and they expect outcomes. Based on the report, he vowed that his administration will act on the call of the Filipinos.

“The people have spoken, and they expect results — not politics, not excuses. We hear them, and we will act,” the President said.

Recently, following the 2025 Elections, Pres. Bongbong Marcos said he is open to reconciliation with the Duterte family. It is no secret to the Filipinos that the feud between the two (2) biggest political clans have went deeper after the controversial arrest of the Duterte patriarch, former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

Following the elections, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte was disappointed by the results. She called on the Filipinos to help in building a powerful opposition. Following the statement of the President on his realizations from the 2025 Elections outcome, Senate Pres. Chiz Escudero expressed an agreement with what Pres. Bongbong Marcos said.
