PBB, VP Sara Duterte Campaign for Manny Villar Daughter Camille Villar’s bid for Senator in 2025 Midterm Polls
Camille Villar’s senatorial bid in the May 2025 Midterm polls is endorsed by both President Bongbong Marcos and Vice Pres. Sara Duterte.
There are several candidates in the upcoming 2025 Midterm Elections. One of those is Las Piñas Representative Camille Villar, the daughter of former Sen. Manny Villar and outgoing Sen. Cynthia Villar. It is her first time seek for a senatorial seat.
Camille is attempting to switch positions with her mother who is running for Las Piñas City congresswoman in the May 2025 Midterm polls. She is one of the senatorial bets of the Alyansa Para Sa Pagbabago.
The senatorial slate of the Alyansa is the “dream team” of Pres. Bongbong Marcos. The Chief Executive is leading the endorsement of the senatorial bets of the grand alliance composed by the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) which is Marcos’ political party, the Lakas-CMD, the National Unity Party (NUP), the Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC), and the Nacionalista Party.
Following the controversial arrest of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte, Sen. Imee Marcos left the Alyansa Para Sa Pagbabago. According to her, recent actions of the government do not match her ideals and principles in life. Here are the current senatorial bets of the grand alliance:

However, amid the Alyansa endorsing Camilla Villar, photos of the daughter of Manny Villar with her business tycoon father and Vice Pres. Sara Duterte crossed the surface. The collage photo was posted by former presidential spokesman Harry Roque.
