Grade 1 Student in Tanza, Cavite Inappropriately Touched by School Employee
A Grade 1 student from a school in Tanza, Cavite suffered inappropriate touching by a school employee.
The incident happened in February 2025, when the young student needed to use the bathroom located outside her classroom.
According to reports, the child was unable to reach a water dipper placed high on the wall. When she asked for help, an adult male entered the bathroom and assisted her. Unfortunately, this person then touched the child inappropriately.

Despite feeling scared, the brave young girl immediately reported what happened to her teacher.
The school management quickly reviewed security camera footage, which the child used to identify the person involved. Further investigation revealed this wasn’t an isolated incident. The same individual allegedly behaved inappropriately with other first and third-grade students, though only one formal report had been filed.
In response to this troubling situation, the school has implemented new safety measures. They’ve created a “buddy system” where female students must have a companion when using the restroom.
Teachers are also no longer allowing children to wait alone for their rides home. These precautions aim to prevent similar incidents in the future.
The parents of the affected child have filed a formal complaint with the Women’s and Children’s Desk of the Tanza Police Department. Authorities are now searching for the suspect.
The incident serves as an important reminder about child safety in schools. Children should be encouraged to speak up immediately if they feel uncomfortable or unsafe. Schools must remain vigilant in protecting their students and respond quickly when safety concerns arise.
The investigation continues as officials work to ensure all students can learn in a safe environment.
