Controversial actor Baron Geisler was reportedly arrested in Cebu and according to reports, here’s what happened.
Based on a previous article, “Incognito” actor Baron Geisler was arrested in Mandaue City. Accordingly, Baron was arrested for allegedly violating a local ordinance on drunkenness last February 22.
He was detained for a few hours and paid a fine before he was released.
“Our Canduman Police Station received a call na nagwawala siya,” said Mandaue City Police Office Spokesperson Police LtCol. Mercy Villaro during a phone interview with ABS-CBN. Police officers arrived in the area and that was when he was arrested for public disturbance.
There were mugshots of him circulating online and in a post, Baron clarified his reported arrest. According to his issued statement, he condemned the apparent misinformation and irresponsible journalism.
He wrote, “I want to make it clear—I’m okay, and I’m seeking legal advice to address this properly.”
What happened according to Cebu reports?
Based on a report from Cebu Daily News, he was arrested around 3:50 AM on Saturday, February 22 due to “drunkenness” and he stayed in Canduman Police Station for several hours.
On the other hand, iFM 93.9 Cebu reported that he was with his in-laws having a drinking session when suddenly, his behavior became violent. It was his in-laws who called the officers. He paid Php 500.00 as a fine for violating the City Ordinance 11-2008-434 (drunkenness).
Meanwhile, in a previous article, Yayo Aguila shared she has forgiven Baron already years after their issue. However, she expressed her desire not to work with him and in cases this would be inevitable for them to have a similar project, she would rather not talk with him.
