Woman Arrested After Causing Scene and Possession of Illegal Drugs and Pretending to Be Police Officer
A woman claiming to be a police officer was arrested in Quezon City after causing scene and possession of illegal drugs.
The fake cop creates chaos, assaults people and damages property inside a barangay hall. The things get worse when she was found in possession of illegal drugs.
According to Barangay San Roque official Ramil Singson, they received reports that the woman had been causing trouble at an LTO Office along 20th Avenue. She was brought to their barangay office, but instead of calming down, she became more aggressive.
A by barangay personnel captured her outburst, which included yelling at staff, damaging items, and even slapping a student intern.
“Pagdating dito sa barangay namin nagulat po kami. Pinagmumura kaming lahat! Bigla sabi niya na-c-cr siya. Tapos pagdating namin sa banyo, nagsisigaw siya at nagwawala. Pinagsisipa niya ang pintuan at mga gamit doon, nawarak po lahat. Lahat ng mga gamit doon nasira. Yung [toilet bowl] binasag niya rin,” Singson said.
Inside the barangay hall, the woman allegedly destroyed a toilet bowl, kicked doors, and poured water on a printer, leaving the barangay office in disarray.
The barangay officials eventually subdued her and found illegal drugs, and police uniforms in her possession.
Further investigation by the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) revealed that the woman had been involved in a hit-and-run incident earlier that day. At the time, she reportedly claimed to be a police officer and threatened the people involved, saying she would shoot them.
When brought to a QCPD traffic office, she fled the scene. Her erratic behavior continued at the QCPD Station 7, where she threw parts of a broken toilet bowl, injuring a civilian and a police officer. She also threw human waste outside the custodial facility.
The suspect denied the allegations, including pretending to be a police officer and possessing illegal drugs.
However, she now faces multiple charges, including physical injury, usurpation of authority, unjust vexation, disobedience, and violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
