Recently, “anniedoe900,” a Reddit user, shared her frustrations about her boyfriend. She revealed that after six years together, her boyfriend has never given her flowers or made thoughtful gestures, leaving her feeling unappreciated in their relationship.
The woman explained that receiving flowers had always been her longtime dream. Before Valentine’s Day, she even expressed her desire to her boyfriend, going as far as telling him the specific type and color of flowers she liked.
However, when the big day arrived, he showed up empty-handed, suggesting they just go out for dinner instead.
The frustrated girlfriend realized she had consistently been the one making efforts and giving gifts, while her boyfriend failed to reciprocate even in small ways. For her, the lack of effort symbolized a deeper issue in their relationship, making her feel unimportant.
