On February 7, 2025 (Friday), a disturbing video captured a man forcefully throwing a puppy into the water. According to the guy, he only wanted to clean the dog.
However, the video footage tells a different story as the frightened puppy struggled to swim back to shore, only to be thrown back into the sea multiple times.
The Watchdog Thailand Foundation (WDT) has stepped in, determined to hold him accountable despite his public apology. The agency call out for the man to be identified and charged with animal cruelty.
The organization condemned his actions, emphasizing that the puppy was terrified and traumatized.
Eventually, the man issued an apology online after receiving widespread backlash online. He explained that his intention was to remove the ticks from the puppy’s body and asked people to forgive him.

However, the organization remained firm in its stance, insisting that animal cruelty should not be justified or excused.
WDT founder Saban-nga Nontara confirmed that they are working closely with local authorities to ensure justice. The incident took place on Samui Island in Surat Thani province, and efforts are underway to track down the suspect.
A legal case has already been filed against him, and the foundation is committed to pursuing the matter until a proper resolution is reached. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of treating animals with kindness and respect.
