PAGASA Says ITCZ to Affect PH Weather Condition
PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that the Intertropical Convergence Zone will bring rain over parts of the country.
On Thursday (September 26, 2024), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The Intertropical Convergence Zone will affect the latest weather update in the country.
PAGASA Weather Specialist Benison Estareja reported that the Intertropical Convergence Zone will bring cloudy skies with rain showers over Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao.
The ITCZ will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Palawan. It will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Visayas and Mindanao.
The localized thunderstorms will bring similar weather conditions over Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon as well as Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
The weather agency has advised the public to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms in the affected areas.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will be slight to moderate, according to PAGASA.
